We have visiting kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. I've gotten them kiddie karaoke machines before, and they loved and still use them. But I wanted to get something more adult level, with more umph, and this one has it. Bigger, louder, more features. Good build quality. Love the effects and how you can add echo. And, you can RECORD. The kids love it, and so do we. All around Win.

This bluetooth speaker is a sizable beast, coming in at 19" tall. And boy does it not disappoint. It's big, but not so big you can't bring it around for parties. It's still quite portable but definitely teetering on the edge of practicality. It's got decently low-lows and a very clear, crisp high end. The lows are balanced and full, but they don't cross over to vibrating the room. Which isn't a problem but if you were expecting to shake the house, this isn't going to do the trick. That's not to say the sound isn't still high quality. The lows are balanced and full, the highs are nice and clear- vocals and drums come through without distortion. Understandably, as with most consumer speakers, the mids are cut quite a bit to reduce clipping and help with boosting max volume without distortion. The lights on the front have multiple settings, and are a satisfying light show that includes two distinct zones around the speakers. A thin ring, and a thick ring. They play well together, and the patterns are surprisingly complex. Bluetooth connectivity is easy to set up and use, no skips or breaks in the audio, and you can walk into the next room without it breaking up. The included mics are fine, certainly not recording quality but for a live karaoke night they're plenty fine to get the job done. This speaker is very nice, and a great deal for the price. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a party speaker or even just something to work out to at home. If you want quiet, water proof, or easy portability, this might not be for you. But otherwise, it's a winner in my book.

Absolutely amazing audio quality, and lasts on battery for a very VERY long time! I personally don't care about the mics, as I am using this as an outdoor speaker for yard work, but the microphones do indeed work very well. They have a great range and the quality is very good. Speaker itself holds up, has a solid design, and connects to bluetooth instantly, and works amazing. Speaker quality is great, as it has clear highs, great mids, and a decent amount of bass without distortion. Size and weight are both ideal, and the included handle makes it very portable!

Wow! Let's get the party started with this GKD61 Karaoke Machine. It stands like a dehumidifier size, sturdy, well made and subtle until switched on, when it comes alive. The 2 microphones both need 2 x AA batteries as these are not supplied. They are a good size, easy to hold and use, with a smooth casing and easy to find buttons. The instructions are easy to read and not complicated to follow. The sound is great, with plenty of adjustment for bass, treble, volume etc. I was super impressed at the sound quality for a home Karaoke system and we had a lot of fun trying it out. Love the lights and colour displays and their reaction to sounds. Even at price tag of £159.99 at the time of this review, it has to be 5* all the way. Even a dinosaur like me used it with ease, and I swear it made me sound better - you should have heard it without the machine, not! . There is a limited 12-month warranty included against manufacturing issues, not wear and tear or misuse which is fair. I looked at many and they were much more expensive, but I found this one and it sounds excellent. The microphones have a screen that shows the volume and battery level, and I highly recommend them. I'm extremely satisfied.
